Virginia, Howard, Lauralyn, and family - Our hearts reach out to you during these days of sadness upon John's departure from this world. But, we rejoice with you over the thrill of his entrance into the courts of heaven !! Surely, to quote J.D. Senkbile, the angels up in glory are probably hearing Murdo stories as never before.
As Micah tells us about the little town of Bethlehem from whose small status our Lord would come forth, so we think of John coming from Murdo to proclaim, as nephew Jeff put it, "the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" (I Peter 2:9).
As you've heard us say before, we will be eternally grateful to John and Virginia for our salvation, not only for ourselves but for our kids and grandkids as well. We'll never forget the special interest and time that Papa John and Virginia invested in the lives of our kids.
