I've been thinking so much about your mom and grasping memories of her grace and faith and incredible kindness and the love she expressed for all of her family and especially John and Grandma.  I always think of her with lovely things around her too - little knick-knacks and oldlovely antiques or lacy cloths. 

Then I realized that in all our excitement over going to our "country cousins" way out in Yorba Linda, it was yor mom that was making the day perfect while we kids were exploring horses, orange groves and those lovely plump tomato worms!  Always a great meal after smashing worms!  And your mom was the grace in the room.  How lucky we were to have shared that.

I couldn't get to sleep tonight for thinking of my Aunt Virginia and what a profound effect she must have had on so many people and couples.  She always seemed so quiet and serene to me and yet by all accounts she and your dad brought the tools for a happier and more fulfilling life to hundreds of folks and their families.  What a beautiful legacy!

I always think of your mother with a camera and I'll bet you're glad you have so many photos to look at!  You were really a cute family.  Oops, still are, just more of you!

I will be keeping all of you, and Virginia in my thoughts.
